Here are the steps to take if you would like your high school student to participate in dual enrollment at the Technical College of the Lowcountry. Make sure you enroll as early as possible in order to get the classes you want.

1. Go here to download the current forms. You need each of the forms! TCL College Credit

2. You will need to bring a copy of your student’s official high school transcript. Claudia can notarize it for you if you are a member of CBCCA.

3. After you have filled out the paperwork you must bring your student, their driver’s license/birth certificate, official transcript and a copy of their SAT scores. If they have not taken the SAT then you need to have them take the COMPASS test at TCL. It is easy to do and is located right inside Building 1 (located on the river side of Ribaut Rd). You sign up at the front window (it is labeled online course registration) and then you can take the placement test. It takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Then you will get your placement results right away.

3. Then you are ready to see the ECCO Coordinator. The office is just past the front desk in Building 1 on the left.
