Although the title of this conference is "Evolution: Fact or Fiction" the scope of the presentation will be much broader and extremely informative!
Believers who have participated in these conferences have consistently come away saying how much their faith was strengthened by the event. And many who were uncertain of whether God really exists and whether He was the God/man that saves, have had their questions answered through this venue.
Genesis is one of the most criticized books of the Bible by skeptics. and yet Evolution: Fact or Fiction lays out the Truth of The CREATION, The FALL, The FLOOD, The TOWER and The HOPE in CHRIST, supported by sound doctrine and solid scientific principles.
Dr. Steve McIlvain, administrator of the Genesis Academy, is also coordinator of the Joshua Project, a research initiative seeking to highlight the people groups of the world with the fewest followers of Christ. He will demonstrate the scientific proof of creation.
David Penny is a graduate of M.I.T. in engineering and has his Master's degree in Biblical Greek and Hebrew. He is also a former missionary to Tunisia and currently operates a dredging company. He will be focusing on the fall of man as well as sharing the proofs for a worldwide flood.
Dr. Ward Brown is a retired veterinarian who provides consulting services to other veterinarians. He will be looking at Genesis 1-11 from both a biblical and scientific perspective.
Dan Aldrich has been a systems design leader for 25+ years in a Fortune 50 company and is an Army veteran. He holds several U.S. Patents in Technology, operates an IT company and is a Bible study & Sunday school teacher. Dan will be presenting the scientific proofs of Genesis with an emphasis on genetics, evolution, the flood & tower and other apologetic topics.
Who should attend?
This conference is for anyone who has questions about Creation and evolution. It will be a great opportunity for families with children to explore the Biblical answers to these questions, as well as examine the scientific evidence for both Creation and evolution. The material presented in this conference is recommended for adults and students 4th grade and up. There is no childcare for this event, but the overflow rooms will be open.
This conference aligns with “The Joshua Project”, which seeks to develop the next generation of “Joshuas” to defend the faith.
