Adult Bible Fellowship Ministry

Our Adult Bible Fellowships are the starting point for connecting with others with whom we share similar life experiences. We have opportunities for teachers, inreach and outreach leaders as well as greeters.

Teacher

Men responsible for the ABF lesson in men’s or mixed classes, or women responsible for the material in women’s classes. ABFs should not so much be a lecture, but rather ought to involve teaching, asking questions of participants and leading the discussion. Must be approved by Pastor Bennett. We currently have need of substitute ABF teachers to fill in as needed.

Leader

Good in front of people. Helps the ABF to relax. Opens the ABF time with prayer. Involved with helping to plan social events for the ABF. Men are needed for men’s and mixed ABFs and women for women’s ABFs.

In-Reach Leader

Leads the ABF in providing and assigning care for the members of the ABF. Helps promote a sense of belonging in the ABF.

Outreach Leader

Reaches out to visitors and those without an ABF and invites them to visit. Helps to plan social events to attract those not attending an ABF.

ABF Greeters

Stand at the door of the class each Sunday and greet all who enter the room. Need a smile and a friendly way about you. Introduce visitors to other ABF attenders so they feel welcomed in the ABF.
